'09 Vacations

Vacations will be decided a little different this time around.  Instead of having everyone fill out a form, we have decided to have Mr. Granas call all individuals in our local personally to find out who wants what.  He should be calling everyone this month(October) so if you have not heard from him by November, please call him as you fell through the cracks.

Problems with a "Monster" Train?

Please report all problems you may have had with a DP train to Mark.  We are trying to keep track so that there is proof to shove at the number crunchers back in Omaha!

Follow the Agreement

It is up to all members to follow the agreement.  We can not expect the Company to follow their end if we won't follow ours.  It came to light at the last union meeting that members on the rt33 pool were going back to work before their 18 hours of inactive status was complete.  If you do not want to keep track of your 18 hours inactive, simply put in for 16 1/2 hours undisturbed when you tie up at klamath falls.  Any questions on this should be directed to your union officers.

USE EMERGENCY FUNCTION ON RADIO WHEN TRAIN IN EMERGENCY

Per M.O.P. Stimac, any time your train is in emergency, per Rule 6.23, you must use the 9-1-1 feature on the radio, if it is available, to contact the dispatcher and advise him or her that your train is in emergency.
