TENTATIVE NATIONAL AGREEMENT REACHED BY UTU

Soon you will be receiving a copy of the tentative agreement and voting instructions. If you have not been receiving the UTU Newsletter in the mail, the UTU does NOT have your current address and you will NOT get a ballot. 2008 RULES CLASS STUDY GUIDE

The study guide for the two day rules class for 2008 is now available to download HERE. According to the instructions on it, you must complete it and bring it with you to the rules class.

USE EMERGENCY FUNCTION ON RADIO WHEN TRAIN IN EMERGENCY

Per M.O.P. Stimac, any time your train is in emergency, per Rule 6.23, you must use the 9-1-1 feature on the radio, if it is available, to contact the dispatcher and advise him or her that your train is in emergency.

Local 1573 of the United Transportation Union serves Conductors and Locomotive Engineers of the Union Pacific Railroad with a home terminal of Klamath Falls, Oregon. The Local holds meetings at 3pm on the third Tuesday each month at Mia & Pia's Pizzeria located at 3545 Summers Lane in Klamath Falls.
